These pants do not have much insulation to them, but they are fully lined and they have a fleece lined seat. They should be plenty warm for skiing if you layer an item under them.

They are 100% nylon, WITH A ZIP UP FRONT, ELASTIC BACK, and side velcro adjustable waist tabs. These pants zip all the way up each side, and have snow gaitors inside the bottom of each leg. The gaitors also have elastic that fits loosely over a boot. These are fabulous looking pants!
